Slow roll it, is the only description I can give for my absence. I got stuck like chuck on the latest WIP. Fate or Plight?, has posed a serious threat to my creativity. One thing for sure is that I will cease activity with sequels. Maybe it was the pressure to add elements that were missing from the first book such as the werewolf-ish activities. Then again maybe I was trying too hard. Until everyone reads it and gives their feedback, I am up in the air about it. On the one hand I like it but on the other hand, I am being my biggest critic. It’s missing something. It’s not good enough. It’s just alright. I still may never know how you wonderful readers will accept this one but I pray I didn’t disappoint.

Any-hoo on to some more interesting news… I have three great book ideas ready to come to life and one play. The play is more or less for the youth department at the church, so unless it gets videoed, no one will ever know. Especially whether or not its a flop, hoping and praying that it will be a success.

If you read my last post, I spoke briefly about visiting BWABC’s book festival. During that time, I was directed to take a look at another book expo in Atlanta, GA. So proud to announce that I will be in attendance at the First Read Book Expo in the ATL in November. The excitement is real.
My goal is to reach beyond the comforts of my own home and network. By the end of the year I will have participated in three events versus last year, I only did one. Next year, the sky is the limit. Know of any events in or around your area, let me know and I will see what I can do. I would love to meet more of my readers face to face, form a personal relationship with you all.
