Feel like snacking…

So despite every thing that has been going on in and around my life, I wanted to spend some time with my babies. What better way to spend time together, on a budget at that? Cooking, movie night, and/or game night but what’s a fun night without snacks? Healthy or fattening…

I was attending an author event a few months back in Memphis and a baker was selling a product called oreo balls. Now mind you when I first heard the name, I instantly started to laugh. Well mainly because I have issues and I openly admit that I am seriously special. Like short-bus special… lol…

After my laughter died down, I literally had an orgasm in my mouth. YUMMY!!! Get your minds out of the gutter and for those that didn’t go there, I apologize for tainting your minds with mine. 😋 Back to the story… They were so good I bought extra to bring back to Arkansas for my family. They loved them as well.

Strumming through Pinterest, I stumbled on the recipe. Mind you I just started using Pinterest and boy am I late. Thanks to this beautiful creation of sharing I have developed an awesome creative spirit that has been lying dorment for far too long. My first test was making this oreo goodness… Honey let me tell you, THEY WERE… (SPEECHLESS) 😍😘👍✌✊👏

Here is the recipe I used with my own spin added:

1 Package of double stuffed oreos

1- 8 oz Package of Cream Cheese

2 Bags of Milk Chocolate Chips

In a food processor I ground up the oreos. Added the cream cheese that had been adjusted to room temp. Mixing the products until blended and smooth. Roll a scoop full of mixture into balls and place on a wax paper covered cookie sheet. Place balls into freezer for fifteen-twenty minutes or until firm.

Melt chocolate according to instructions. Use a tooth pick to dip balls in melted chocolate. Place on wax paper covered dish. Once balls are covered in chocolate place in the refridgerator to harden. Serve. BOOM! 💣

Easy peasy… These would be a huge hit for a party. Alter recipe how you choose and decorate for added excitement. Let the kids make their own creations. The idea is fun family time. My pics are not all that attractive but the most important part was how they tasted. Good!

Like I said, they aren’t attractive but they sure had an attractive taste. Lol…
